Keynote: How can we improve the health of the population?
One approach which is generating growing interest is by using the health-related information reported by patients, commonly referred to as Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS)
In Israel PROM has been developed and used with people with serious mental illness consuming psychiatric rehabilitation services in the community. We are excited that professor David Roe who is internationally acknowledged for his work with PROM has accepted to be the key note at the conference and will share his experiences.
In Israel there is a long tradition of measuring out-comes and quality both for hospitals and community-based care in the national programme for quality indicator. The health care system is public funded, and the quality of health and health care is one of the highest in the world.
